After studying philosophy at Cambridge University and cello at the Royal Academy of Music, I specialised in chamber music with a ‘Quartet Masters’ under the Maggini Quartet and Sir Peter Maxwell Davies. I then co-founded TROUPE, a group that made theatrical concerts, performing at Wigmore Hall, Snape Maltings, CESC Brazil. In 2015 I joined MishMash productions with their first show, Hubbub, and in 2022 I was awarded an Arts Council Develop your Creative Practice award to learn more about stage directing. As part of this, I studied abroad with Oorkaan and took a directing course at Central School of Speech and Drama.
